You might be wondering about the name. The number 8 has been my favorite since childhood, and 18 is my birthday. Together they became 818 — and when I looked it up, I discovered it's actually an angel number symbolizing infinite flow, material success, karma, and personal power. It felt like the perfect sign for this new chapter.
As for Serendipity Surprise? It all started with my love of watching lucky scoop videos. I was hooked on the excitement of seeing what someone would get, and I knew I wanted to create that same feeling with a business of my own. But I wanted to put my own spin on it, rather than copy what everyone else was doing. After lots of brainstorming, I came up with envelopes, mirrors, and bags instead of the usual lucky scoops. Serendipity is about finding something wonderful when you least expect it, a happy accident or a little bit of unexpected luck. That felt like the perfect match for my idea. And since I also love the movie Serendipity, the name just clicked! Then came Surprise. With mystery boxes at the heart of what I wanted to create, it captured the excitement of discovering something unexpected. Together, Serendipity Surprise became a name that feels like me: a little luck, a little mystery, and the joy of finding something you didn't know you would love. 🩷
